Guess no one took the challenge to race us there

Grab Appleberry Mountain Trail. Photobucket is acting up and I can't get the grab photo to post. Little bit of a difference in our bikes :-)

We took this one back up closer to Crozet, Earlysville, etc, but not toooo close. This road is Supermans first name and you can access it from 810 or Millington Rd. We chose a spot that should be pretty easy to spot if you ride this road. Pictures speak for themselves. The tag is behind the big stump.

Cool. My father was in the CCC's at the Whitehall Camp, built fire towers. My cat is glad her ex-cat toy is finding good use.

That is really cool! I have been wondering about the CCC's, and tell your cat thank you for the toy. I hope she doesnt miss it too much. We should probably get her a new one for Christmas to thank her

Might have to move it back to Madison
Fire road anyone?

Grabbed tag on Clark Road. Will post new location later. Hint: It's now in Madison.

Problem Solved

Grab on Clark Road

On the way to the new spot you'll see bovines with handlebars.

New spot is between two trees, under a rock, beside a road.......

The road name is synonomis "pilgrims" Run Road. Grid coord. N 38'27.328 W 078'21.314
(Yes, it pushes the 1hr time limit) If you're on something orange you'll have time to spare!

It was a great ride to the end of this road. The hill to the right of the bike was fun.
There's also a road off of this one that goes up to The Sag that's a fun little road. It goes up to the big relay tower. The road is only open during hunting season. Unfortunately there's a chain across the road just short of the tower.
Back in the day, I used to ride right up to the tower on my enduro.
You'll find the road to the Sag to the left after the 1st bridge.
The water crossing was fun, too. All though it was a bit cool.
