the chain on the other hand I think will be a DIDxring gold (bling bling)

so the real point is well, I got 15K outta my stocker. 15k abused, unkept, dry, wet, gritty pacnorwet drive it like ya stole every day rain or shine and am fully comfortable putting stock back on.

how many miles should be typical or would you get from a sprocket/chain?
I think I done well for the way I treat it.

ps. don't even start with the "what chain lube ya use?"

7500 for my 03 640a w/ the aluminum rear. you must be talkin steel rear eh? double the fun for half the money?

Recently replaced front with a OEM 17 tooth to make freeway travel easier.
Do not have a tach for RPM gauge, (it's a LC4E) but it's very smooth at 70MPH, IMHO.
I also have about 10K on a Sidewinder Tri-Metal 42T that shows no serious wear. If it ever wears out I'm putting the Sidewinder Ti-moly (Titanium/Chomoly blend) on that I have stock piled.

I have Stealth Sprokets on my 2006 625 SXC, this is my 2nd set & the bike has now clocked up 18000kms. Very pleased with them & their long lasting durability. Running 16/48 set up.
