i see that the rear peg hangers attach as a separate piece (can be taken off unlike the 800's)
i will bet spoke wheels will be an option cant see them doing two versions of this bike like the 800/800xc
Cant see a clutch cable , so it might have a hydraulic type

Yep Triumph have been doing good things lately

Yes they have; and if this thing can compete with the $20K Multi, it just may be something I'll have to consider... Will have to wait and see the specs; but Trumpets typically are more simplistic and sell for a lot less. This is a reason the Sprint ST/GT has come very close to winning almost every ST comparo, because the bikes competitive and also ~20%+ cheaper than the competition...

Big plate covering rear master cylinder looks to be a good thought. But like everything in this genre really you will have to load it up with aftermarket protection. Should be a good thing though.

Yep - looks better than the other Indian brands - Enfield and Mahindra - though the Mahindra 125 GP goes well....

We were told about this bike last Thursday at Team Moto Triumph..

Anyway, looks like a big Road Tourer to me....

Do You think Triumph have nicked some guy from BMW & put him on a bit of extra dosh ???

That looks really nice. 2012 looks like a good year to buy an adventure tourer. What will it be... Honda... Triumph...

Rumor about a dirt oriented Aprillia ADV turning up next year or so too, somewhere around 750 to 1000cc capacity, could be interesting.
