Did I write some nonsense again?
PNW buttercup was going to share the site but is no longer in. Bummer.

I am still going and have space in my site.
I am pretty sure.
My daughter is also coming along, I believe the site holds about three people, our tents are tiny.

I paid when I made the reservations, wasn't much. We'll settle when we're there. ok?

Look forward to meeting you!

Me too!

I made it through the knee surgery, but they found more damage than the MRI showed. I'm making progress with recovery, but unfortunately will not be ready in time for this ride. It's hard to sit here in great riding weather & jones to go for a ride knowing I can't yet. It does help drive me to regain my range of motion though!
I hope you all have a great trip & I look forward to reading the ride reports, and hope to make it on the 2nd annual Ladies Only trip!!

Alternate section planned for those who may want to skip a portion of the Saturday route.

Hope to see you some time this year, disappointed the damage was more than expected, but thrilled you are progressing as well as working and looking forward to next years Ladies ride.

Pre-ride completed last weekend!

The pre-ride went well, glad we (magoolin and I) followed through, some things have changed since last year so routes have been adjusted accordingly (thank you mrmagoolin for GPS tracks). I have a few pictures but my battery died on my camera so they are limited (the charger is in Payette), perhaps Linnet can post more or you'll have to wait and see for your self.

Saw a few adv riders Friday such as Mrs. SFS on her way to work on her BMW,

these guys are from Salem they were riding the OBDR out on a side trip.

Here are some more pictures of our Friday ride.

Saturdays ride photos are limited since my battery died

Looking forward to showing you gals some of my area, thanks to Magoolinn for leading! Still plan to have dinner in town Sat. Eve. Gas is just across the street form the eatery. Don't forget to gas up in Pendleton or at the casino before riding up to the camp ground Thurs. night. you will need as full a tank as possible for Fridays ride. If you have have any questions don't hesitate to ask here or PM me, I will be checking in regularly now that our ride is soon. Travel safe and we'll see each other soon, got to go continue packing!

Parking

Hi Ladies!
It looks like Susi (Matloik wife) and I will be coming over together (as far as I know). Since I don't have anyone to ride with on Wednesday, I really don't want to camp out by myself on Wednesday night, so I will be trailering over on Thursday. I know that a few folks have cancelled on this trip, so I'm assuming there will be a place for me to park my rig. I will of course pay the extra vehicle fee, if it comes to that. Looking forward to seeing all you awesome gals on Thursday.

Yes, what about parking?

I just got back from a ride on my F650 and wore out the chain, sprokets and back tire and won't have the parts in and installed in time for Friday's trip down. So, my alternative would be to haul my xt225 down with my truck and maybe trailer unless I can assemble my new hitch rack before then. If I had a few more days off, I would just ride the XT down... but... So, what is the parking situation like?

Suggestions there.

That sounds like one hell of a ride, Sector! I'm alone in my site since Karla can't come, so you can park your rig in my space if you want.

Man, the photos of the route look great!

...Unfortunately I've had an offer of work come up that I can't turn down. Life of a freelancer. Sometimes you get to sit in a cafe at 1 pm on a Tuesday, other times you get to work through the weekend. In this case at least, I'll be in Vancouver working on a documentary film about the music industry.

I really was looking forward to this ride for months though. I even chose not to go to my 20-year high school reunion in favor of the ride! I hope y'all will have me next year.

I am happy to send a check for my part of the campsite if it doesn't get filled. Just let me know how much and where to send it.

Please post lots of photos so I can live vicariously through you!
