Kept the flapper because I didn't want to mess with the d@mn idiot lights. I have had problems on a few bikes after removing them. 1 didn't care as long as the servo was still there. 1 had to have a bracket installed so that the servo could only turn so far (I guess it was providing feedback to the ECU). The other bike is race only so I don't care; I just painted over the light.

Quiet is Better. Why throw away perfectly good factory stuff?
There is a money/volume/brains equation here some place. I ride because I like to. I don't ride for ego. I don't ride when I fear ice. |

I'd keep the factory exhaust. Normally, I'm a big fan of aftermarket exhaust in order to loose weight. I like a quiet exhaust but the system on my 1150GS felt like it was made from old U-boat scrap, it weighed a ton!
Recently I had to remove the can on my 1200 to install a new shock and was pleasantly surprised at how light the factory can is. It's interesting to see that other folks here say they get louder. I hope it doesn't get too loud since I ride in some "secret"areas and don't want to upset anyone..... |

Two Bros cut down any of their exhausts per customers wishes however they do NOT reccomend cutting them down for the 1200GSA as it will burn your luggage..thats a good reason!
Two Bros M5 All Black Series it is then! |
