We're IN too!
Even have my wife excited about it. Gonna call and make RV reservation today for the toy hauler. Both new off road riders, but we have all summer to practice. This will be our first ADV rally (but don't get any funny ideas. I was in a fraternity, so I know all about initiations, secret handshakes, rituals with farm animals and "lets just keep this between us brothers"..
 I rode the Million dollar hwy last summer on my Tiger during a 3000 mile tour of Colorado. We threw in a few dirt road passes and that made me realize I would have much more fun on a 250lb bike. So I traded the Tiger in on a new 500EXC and have high hopes for this bike. Wife is on a CRF230M with 17" 244's. But who knows, maybe by then I will have her on a DRZ. We also may bring her WeeHawk for some road riding. So on that note. Can any of you locals recommend a D/S tire for the KTM? I was thinking about bringing two sets of tires for it, to do some paved twisties (don't have SUMO set up yet, but if I do, I will just bring that), but if a good d/s tire could handle the off road, I may just mount them and not worry about a full on knobby. Looking forward to it.

Well...... we have to reschedule this trip.
Scouting Trip To Silverton.... Ok.....I think I have a Saturday and Sunday identified for a scouting trip to Silverton..... May 26-27, (Sat & Sun) If you want to ride over, you are more than welcome. It will be a pavement ride....and I am taking my Vstrom. BrownEyedSuzanne may join me, 2-up. We will be tent camping. Who would like to join us???? I am now looking at mid June.
