Ex-Pat SMIBS to Alaska Ride 2013 (Planning phase)

aka, The Other SMIB ride.

This trip was initially set for the month of July, 2012. Due to a family medical problem, Lonestar has had to postpone the trip and I am doing the same. And, since we now have a lot more time to plan, we will set the dates around the "Dust to Dawson" so we can take part in that too. According to Motoquest website, the 2013 DtoD runs between 18 and 29 June. The delay will be better for me too as I am still recovering from extensive back surgery and probably won't be 100% by 30 June.

Now that that's done, on with the scheduled programing!

Nothing is set up yet other than the fact that the Muffynmonster (my daughter) are going to head west and meet with Lonestar2112 in Great Falls, Montana and head north - June/July. LS will be bringing a friend from CA and I will be picking up a friend of mine from MN on the way out.

27 Oct - Dates are tentatively set. I expect to leave VA on or about 1 June - probably with whatever SMIBS, Cat Herders, Bullwinkle Death Riders and assorted hangers on are riding out to CDT - or go to Alaska. Tentative plan is to meet Lonestar2112 in Great Falls and head north.
