And that date is very dependant on my branch manager. Trying to get my report date sometime in late August. If not than I leave for Alaska in mid June and reunion on way home. Hopefully will know in the next couple weeks.
What rear tire are ya'll planning on using? I like the TKC, but short life. Have looked at the Mitas, but mileage unknown. Heard nothing but bad thing on the Kenda big block. The testimonials on motorcycle-superstore are averaging about 1200 miles.

I am thinking about TKC F/R. I am also looking at finding a place to ship them to in Canada and then spoon them on there. That way I can use them up while in Canada and AK.

I'm still torn - K-60-R/TKC-F or TKC's both front and rear. I've only had one experience with the Heidi on mud and that sucked. I will have a set of tires delivered to the shop in Fairbanks though.

Hope you are planning to use the services of Adventure Cycleworks in Fairbanks, Dan and Shawn are great guys and have the best prices around. You can ship tires to them or order from them and they'll hold them for you. Operate 24/7 in the summer. Before deciding on shipping you ought to see what it will cost to buy from them. Shawn is AKTracks on the forum and frequents the Alaska forum.

Updated chart. Several mileages were because Mapquest estimated distances from the center of Denali, not the edge of the park.

I don't know. All the ALCAN riders said that was a good plact to stop so I put her up there. I am working on a plan revision as I type. Probably going to change the direction of travel maybe add some more stops along the way.

As of two days ago, I'm meeting a friend in MN on the 4th and we're heading to Kalispell on the 5th. We plan to meet Lonestar on the 7th. Lonestar is doing the routing from there. Keep in mind that everything is somewhat fluid at the moment and could change tomorrow but if that fits, fine.

So far no plans are in concrete. At this time the plans are more like warm jello. I have no issues with others showing up. I will get busy this week and post up my most recent thoughts.
So far there is a 1200GS, a 1100GS, and whatever 6 is going to be on, and 6's buddy is on a ? Unless I get a ton of objections I am going to nuke the earlier spreadsheets.
