Has anyone found a better looking coolant overflow? Or relocated the stock one? I really don't like the location. I also need to figure out a new place to mount the ignition. I assume the two bolts on the bottom need to be drilled out?

Do you remember JDrocks coolant can and location?Yes,the ignition switch security bolts will need to be drilled off.They are a pain and center punch them as close to the center as possible before drilling.

I've never had such a fit or butchered a part worse than drilling those stupid bolts.

Great, looks like I have something to look forward to. It looks like my stem nuts/wheel spacers will be here today(hopefully). At that point, the front end should bolt on. Spacers for the rear wheel and I am good to go. I might throw the stock ninja wheel on and take it for a spin once it is rolling.

yea, I know, I've been slacking...and right now all I can prove is that a bunch of parts near each other that resemble a bike exist. I'll try to quit slacking if you guys can try to find these damn nuts I need for my front end...

"It is for a yz450 but is aftermarket, likely Pro Taper or Ohlins.

bottom nuts (qty 2) are M30x1.25
Top nut is M26x1.25

are you sure you have the correct pitch? be unusual for threads to be so bad you couldn't chase them to get started.

I just rechecked my build thread for info on the YZ stems. stock is 30 and 28 mm diameters. if you cant find the right nuts, it might be easier to get a stock yz triple and have the stems pressed again

FYI, looks like a crf450 flywheel puller has m30 threads. its a lead, anyway. not sure if it left or right but its 1.25

That's the one I was looking into.He said it was sold but maybe not.I have his info and will be incontact with him when I clear a few bikes out of my building.

The reason I am using this stem is because I was able find conversion bearings. I was not able to for the stock YZ stem.
