No, that would be when I actually sent the Owner and Aventcha off to bed at 3:00am in the morning after keeping the pub up with loud music and being lead astray by DirtisGood and PajeroPete's desire (or the pub's owner's marketing skills) to drink $75 rounds of Black Sambucca.

Well guys

In negotiation with hard head as to a recce day. Probably next weekend. Actual ride date the weekend of the 5th May.

Bronx I am trying to get the spanner all the way down to you. Either by the SEQ leg going all the way or getting a couple of my slack arse mates on the mid north coast in NSW to meet us half way.

If we do go all the way to Raymond Terrace it will be a pretty long run and the pace will have to be pretty brisk. Any feedback on routes and such appreciated but at this stage I am thinking of straight down to white swamp, down through Pretty Gully , from there I,m not sure.

Preferred plan is to get down near Grafton and handover. Keep you posted

I am gunna meet Mr Smith and company in Grafton on Sunday Morning 6 th May and guide the riders south as far as they decide to ride within their ( Qlders ) time constraints. The Spanner should arrive in Raymond Terrace mid - late afternoon on Monday May 7 th . ( all being well and going to current plan)

Where and when will Bruce take the spanner from the last carrier should this plan all pan out correctly ?

I'll have my GoPro on so should get some descent footage. And stills from them are as good as a picture from a good phone camera.

For those lurking on the thread that are thinking of coming on the ride, can you chime in 'cos it will make the decision of booking a pub or a camp site easier. There are a good selection of both in Grafton.

I also just realised that the ride is on Mothers day. probably not a great idea. Might be better to push it back a week or so?

Well the recce has been postponed. Too wet up here this weekend. Hope it fines up for next weekend! The route for the ride is Ripley Rd from Cunningham Hwy to Coulson, via Bundamba Lagoon. Down to Boona through to Maroon just west of Kooralbyn. Down Carney's Ck, White Swamp to Koorela. Then on though Tooloom, Paddy's Flat to Tabulam. From there down the Clarence way and divert back along the river through Copmanhurst to Grafton.

Hardhead and I are hoping that if the rain clears today that we will try to get as south as we can tomorrow. Probably to the Tank Traps at Paddy's. Just for a ride so if your in the vicinity and up for a spin' give me a PM.
