It looks like there's lot of interest in the big finned head so I'm going to make up some kits.
What would such a kit run and how much to send a head in for the welding?

If I can mass produce them and get enough interest all I can say is you won't be able to beat the price..
I can not just do one or two sets and make these kits that way,it will cost to much in setup time and in material cost I have to buy a certain amout of aluminum to get a cost break, I'll have to get at least 20 orders so I can bring the price down and make it affordable, I'll do my best to keep it low.

Any danger running the XRL in cold weather? Like 0 deg celsius? Any way to prevent damages? Input please!

CW, how much for a ported head( no big fin, yet) valve guide, valve, retainer and springs for the 628 HRC cam you're going to have?

Thanks for getting abck to me in PM.

There sure is, that's where you want to run a lighter oil with an additive like ZDDP to help protect your vavle train.
You need a oil package that has a high "CLING" factor to it. Synthetics do a far better job at clinging to parts over a longer period of time than conventional oils do. A bike that sits for a long period of time between starts should run the syn. oils...and make sure you add some ZDDP to your oil...
