Based on a review of the California stds for 2014 (http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/offroad...tion_final.pdf) it looks like the DR will:
A. Be a 49 state bike B. Not be imported at all C. Be upgraded with FI, Liquid cooling, Aluminum frame, upgraded suspension, etc. Might be a slight increase in price. |

It's the same as the 2012, the same as the 2011, the same as the 2010, and so on.
That also means its a great bike! Enjoy it and upgrade as you feel you need to. :)
