Yeah, spot the corners, like Walsenburg, Alamosa, Durango, Grand Junction, etc. I can see how it would work.... you just have to tear yourself from your milling machine and get out here this summer!

Seeing as it is local, I'm probably IN...no lodging required either.

As long as there is a motel close by or cabins on the grounds

I'm IN as well...

Any ideas yet on a place that will support a large group of campers in/near WP?

Lots of ideas. A first I was skeptical about finding a good place so I called Bill (CO-DRZ) who works for the city and within a few minutes we had about 9 different possibilities. I'll get started on those tomorrow. I'd like to establish the location a soon as possible.

My vote is the 9th hole of the golf course.

We have a good hotel, an even better motel, some cabins, and my friend Ryan's house.

I'll post lodging info as soon as I'm positive about the event date. Weekend lodging fills up quick around here in the summer and I want everyone to have a good chance to find a comfortable spot.

I am very much in favor of this planning strategy. WF and RMAR being tethered on neighboring weekends will give folks 9 days of awesome riding.
