I like it. Maybe you could try to get there by compass only: no GPS, no maps.

That's a deal. Although, Bryce and Sean rode that area two weeks ago and there are a couple of climbs they could not get their 250's up......

We will have to abuse riders......without breaking them.

I'm going to cheat this year......outfitting a very light woods bike for these types of rides. I've got plans for a 250cc so that I don't have to wrestle the Big Red Pig on single track.

LOL Yep, going up Pipeline is a challenge that is for sure, mainly the end part. But its doable if you have help (thanks Pablo). Another ride could be to take people back to that 1952 plane crash I just went to....its a good destination.

Mark's been up those couple of climbs, on his 650, in the rain . Over the summer I managed to convince him it would be fun so we gave it a try .

Not too long ago I attempted going up Jacks, up Pipeline, and up Mt Rosa in a single trip. I made it, but it was brutal on the bike. On parts of Mt Rosa your skidplate will get more ground time than your front wheel. Here's a pic of my oil temp on that trip. The long side of the needle is the side you read.

Count me in Pablo! As I'm a local I will voulenteer to help as much as possible. I anticipate not working out of state next year with any luck. Tent camping for me. Or I just go down the hill to my bed.

Can we stop by and use your shower? Always seems to be a shortage of bathing facilities at these things.
