Question R1200GS Hugger?

Greetings,
I did a search and did not find any info. I am looking for a hugger for my R1200GS. I would prefer a black plastic one if available. All the ones I have found are carbon fiber and cost $250+ big $ shipping from over seas. I was hoping to find something in the $100-175 range. Does anyone have any links or has anyone bought a hugger for their R1200GS?

TIA

A few months ago (Dec) I read a thread on ukgser about a carbon fiber hugger, a guy was thinking about making them and selling them, and was gauging interest.

Dutchman, who posts here, is making and selling one. He originally produced a CF version which I believe he recalled due to some production issues (and he did the right thing by all the customers, so no worries there). He is now making it out of some type of composite plastic that is less expensive than CF and does not have the issues that the first one did. I am due to receive one in the next few weeks and am very excited about having something that will cut down on spray and muck getting thrown everywhere. It will be on my bike at the BMWMOA national this summer if anyone wants to eyeball it up close. Or, it will be available to see in the Boston area sometime in the next month or so, depending on when it arrives.

http://www.adventurersworkshop.com/M...d_Concepts.htm will be carrying the Motorrad Concepts hugger once it becomes available. It seems there are no US made huggers for this bike, all 2 or 3 designs for the 12GS are from the UK, and one from Germany.

Non Carbon Huggers available soon

I did a search a couple of days ago and found that Motorrad Concepts has given up on Carbon and developed a Fiberglass/Alum version for the R1200GS. They are working on communicating with persons who had previously placed orders. Those people will come first. I don't know what the price will be yet. They will be available in black, silver, and the three stock R12 colors. The US distributor is Adventurers Workshop. A front fender to match will also be available.
