Bill is joining us tomorrow and spending a couple of nights in the bivouac

I have to make note of how well Neds nav tower and fairing are doing compared to several others........

Just spoke with James. Sad situation, he is out of the rally. Heading home for surgery, broken cheek bones, etc.

Off to bed, 4 and a half hours until Neds wake up. Big dunes day tomorrow

Ned started the liasson, which left from camp, and was looking refreshed and excited for today's stage.

Nice and cool last night which makes for a much better sleep..

GO!!!!

Thanks Ted!!

I'm looking forward to another phone-in at the end of the day with Ned cheerfully saying "WOW! that was really fun"!!

Thanks goes out to you and the rest of the Rally PanAm crew for keeping him going especially now that he's the USA's last rider!!

Quick recap from Withdrawls page shows the following numbers of withdrawls by stage:

Stage 2 - 11
Stage 3 - 11
Stage 4 - 5
Stage 5 - 20

Cheers

Seems like big numbers....ASO indicates today will be a tough one and may thin the herd a bit. I suspect today will see quite a few dnf's, maybe not as much as previously thought as yesterday had no special.
