Thanks Ted for the inside beta - with work, family and crying over the lack of snow can't drink the hose but this, Neduro's, and cliff note post have set the Dakar hook...............HARD.

Bah, you're all a bunch of posers.
I've got knobbies on my F5 (TKC 80 pattern). Better traction when the going gets tough.
This ain't no race for slicks.

BAH!

It's you the poser!

TKC's not homologated by the ASO. Disqualification for you!

Unless you're french, of course. Then: Sorry to have bothered you, sir.

Ned is off on the liason

Truck is packed and warming up, 600+ km today.

Dropping Bill off along the way so he can grab a flight.

Not as much fog and a bit of a breeze which bodes well for Ned as he'll be back further into the pack after day 7's result. Less fog and a breeze equals less dust. Lots of quads starting with Ned today which isn't a great thing (dust).

Hoping for a smooth and trouble free day.

GO!! Ned GO!!!

Thanks for the update on Bill! I haven't talked to him since he left BA. I will see everyone at the finish as I'm leaving for Lima today :)

More from Deadly!

Ned is up and raring to go!!

Tim having breakfast with Ned and I.
Ned start time is in 40 minutes. No dunes today but a long special with rocks and the road book indicates a ton of fesh fesh.
