Got about a quarter of the books shipped this morning before the post office closed. Rest will be sent early this week....the old lady at the local post office is not liking me. Takes her about 5 minutes a book....but when you walk in with a couple hundred....well....looks like I'll be spending several hours with her this week

give her a for me and tell her to get off her ass and get to work. This is important stuff, damn it, and time is of the essence..

After all, Pyndon and J Mo's prep threads aren't really rolling yet, we need something to get us through the slow periods in the Twelve Months of Dakar...

[QUOTE=Deadly99;18723016]Got about a quarter of the books shipped this morning before the post office closed. Rest will be sent early this week.

I can't wait. I was hoping to get it by Friday, since I go to sea on Sat for six weeks and entertainment is hard to come by while on the ship. Sadly, everything takes longer to arrive when your in Alaska, especially when it comes from Canada. No matter what though, it will be great to have whenever it gets here. Thanks for all your hard work keeping us entertained, I hope the book covers some of your expenses, and that you can afford to be our "reporter on the scene" again next year. I firmly believe that despite not having any decent tv coverage this year, we had better, more timely information than in any of the years past. Thanks again for making the two best weeks of the year better than ever. (and it aint over yet, we still have a book to read!!)
