I'm not that much closer and I get to Monterey every year. It's not like the 800 miles between you and Monterey are flat and boring. (Between you and Indy, that's a different story...)

OTOH, you're a couple hundred miles closer to Salt Lake, and though it's not MotoGP, WSBK isn't to be sneered at, everything is cheaper, and the crowds are much lighter.

Is it just me, or does Karel Abraham have no business riding a big bike? Or even a little bike? Won 1 race in moto2 and 2 podiums, ever since 2005.

Am I reading that wrong?

Yeah, dunno. I've thought he might too, but that was during the "sick years", I rekn maybe now he's at the top again he might hang about a bit.

Yes I've seen that. But that's qualifying. I'll bet you that Abraham is passed by a CRT bike this season before any other GP bike.

It's not like he's taking a ride away from someone else. Karel is in the hot seat. He knows this.
He takes all the cheap shots and continues on. I respect that.
There are bigger things to whine about.

No whining, just observations and conjecture. I just read some stats and wonder others' opinions or wisdom.

Probably a great guy; a better guy that a point-collector, and really I wonder how he deals with the pressure from dad, other riders, the press etc.
