Great article! He really explains Suzuki's corporate reality.

I know this is the MotoGP thread, but what a loss Batta's retirement is to the WBK paddock - he is incredibly honorable and loyal to Suzuki and to racing in general.

Nope, one party has the contract with F1. One party is building the track. The party building the track wants binding rights with the party that has the contract. Just need to blow smoke up each others butt for a bit and construction will continue. TX is not paying any of that fund they have until a race is happening.
