Never going to happen. We live in a country where NASCAR is king and F1 has minimal following. Motorcycle racing is never going to catch on like it has in other parts of the world. Unfortunate but true.

Only way MotoGP would catch on in America is if they played football with them. Idjits.

Or if the raced on an oval making only left turns. All those different type turns are too confusing for my countrymen

Not sure if this has been put up anywhere else. (I only got back from the Island yesterday)
Here's 51 minutes of Casey Stoner (I'm not sure if it will work outside Australia) Done by Channel 10. Interesting stuff after you get past all the sunshine blowing. http://www.mcnews.com.au/Video_Of_Th...2012/Nov_2.htm Thanks Trev for the link.

We have that here in NAmerica, it's actually the most exciting racing I've ever seen, but it doesn't sell either. I'm glad we have internet access to MotoGP.

American TV in general is shit, reality crap overload. I ditched cable TV and get all my racing and the very few shows I watch from the Internet. That way you only watch what you really want and don't fall into the trap of watching to kill time.
But yes the rest of the world has awesome coverage of motor-sports, well the UK sure as hell does... |

Motomatters on the Ant West doping ban.
Thirty-day ban for traces of a substance that can hype you up a little, or help you lose a little weight. If anybody is still wondering why we don't notice a lot of spontaneity and skylarking among the current crop of world championship hopefuls, it could just be that a clue lies right there. I imagine this lot would have rubbed out Barry Sheene before he got beyond 125s. (No hard evidence, just a hunch. )You can blame the no-drugs-in-sport crew that the masters of MotoGP have signed up with. Or you can ask how the hell a circus for daredevils got mixed up with the temperance league. Yeah I know, it looks clean for the sponsors and all that. And sponsors are hard to come by, apparently. And if it wasn't for sponsors, we wouldn't have multi-million dollar salaries at the top and corner-specific automatic traction control. Damn. Anybody know whether they do doping tests at the TT? Are blokes there worried about what might be found in their blood if they bin it?
