Oh, I did have first aid kit and will this year again. However, I am not a first responder nor have any formal medical training. The riders will do all they can to help with any injuries but ultimately we rely on the SPOT.
If MossyCreek can attend he IS a 1st responder.

Ghost is a first-responder, too and I carry a large sack of Mexican pain pills. So if we can make it, we might could be of some service to the collective.

Last years Arkansas 500 was GREAT!
A few of us Local DS Crazies combined the AED500 within a longer ride, The Bob Ride.
You can go here for a little picture story:
https://picasaweb.google.com/1173813...jAE&feat=email#

In the middle of this pic story are a few pics of the 2011 AED500.

I can not attend this year, but would not miss it if I had the opportunity.
1st class ride!

Scotty69,

I'm watching this thread and the website for more information since I'm interested in going this year.

Want to bring to your attention: the website has the wrong dates, or last year's dates, listed under "Rider Information". It states, "Ride Date 4/13/11 - 4/15/11". However, the dates listed in the paragraph below are for 2012.

Some folks checking out the website may see the 2011 dates, assume it is an old link, and not read any further.

Thanks for putting this ride together. It looks like it will be fun.

Thanks, I fixed the date on the rider page. It sure helps when people give their input.

But Scotty -

Check the link in your signature.

The home page (on the right side) still says:

Ride Date: 4/13/11 - 4/15/11

A Yahoo search of "Arkansas 500" brings up the links below. The first link still reflects 2011 dates under "Rider Information", but the other link (#5) is fixed.

I know nothing about web page design. Maybe you could title the new link/web page as, "The 2nd Annual Arkansas 500" and avoid any confusion. Just an idea as I'm trying to be helpful and not critical.

Wow, what a great day to ride. I think I'll ride tomorrow too. I did find a couple re-routes, but a really good route.
