That has some really cool stuff going on.

I could see myself buying one in a few years.

I remember the beautiful Ossas from the early 70s. I didn't think they were still around. That's a gorgeous bike, but the pipe will scorch your butt after about 15 minutes. There's something electrical under the engine (voltage regulator?) that looks like it will short the first time you ride in mud, and is that a 10 tooth front sprocket?! The chain would last about all of about 10 hours.

That thing certinally shows some "out of the box" thinkinhg. I don't think I'd touch a first or even 2ns year model with a 10 foot pole. After they get it sorted out though, I think some of the ideas will find their way to other bikes. Maybe once KTM buys the patent I'll buy one.

Very cool. From what I've read its not direct injected, but still injected (and that's good enough for me). I'd really like an ultra-light kick-start 150cc version.

The title of the article here says "New Direct Injection Ossa Enduro Model" Maybe they didn't understand the bike data?

it has two injectors, one in the intake and one in the cylinder head.. gonna watch this one.. they have been making some really nice trials bikes for years.. building the company back up.. like GG, beta and sherco.. nice to see another trials bike co step into mx and enduro bikes.. brings new ideas and designs into the market..

The Ossa web site says it is "only" EFI.

And it is only EFI so they can put the cylinder at the angle they have it at.

If it was DI they would push the point.

IT IS NOT DI!

For some reason DI doesn't seem to be feasible on enduro bikes at this time.

The companay as it now is has only made one trails bike for one year.

The name Ossa has a history, but the new bikes are only an Ossa by name.

Thought they had been making them for a while. I remember seeing some before,, must have been prototypes that never made it into production.
