Yep, did James do both lights? I think it would fry the electrics if they both switched in at once, you could set it up so one was on a delay.

I think Bucky is right on this one. HID's take a pretty good jolt to light the arc and very little to maintain it....

Assuming you run a solenoid to switch it in then you could easily build a delay circuit for the solenoid switch on the second lamp.
