Calling Melbourne area trail/dual sport riders

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone on here rides from the Melbourne area and enjoys heading out to the trails etc on weekends? Silly question?

I have an 06 DR650 (loving it) and would be great to get out with others who have similar bikes/interests.. Only been in the country 6 months or so (pom with aussie passport) and none of my mates here are into it!

Would rate myself as novice but not wimpy!

heading out to Wombat tomorrow with the wife to check out some really easy tracks.

Nothing too hard, but some good touring trails east of Melbourne.
Where a bouts are you located?

Im just north of melbourne (kilmore). I head out to mt disappointment every now and then for easy trail riding on my xt660. Let me know if you are interested to head out this way or is it too far?

Awesome guys, thanks for all the responses and pm's, will be getting in when I get some weekends free!

Hope to get out then, will keep my eye on the rides on here too. Promise to keep whinging to a minimum!

PS, live in Clifton Hill so not far from city. Tend to ride out around Yea or Toolangi etc, but always interested to explore new places.

Keep me in the loop too.

I work odd hours, so Im not usually free on he weekends. But During the week Im quite often up for an easy ride somewhere. I figure its better to crash with others watching so everyone gets a laugh than on my own when its no fun.

Yep, might be heading out on Sunday with a mate to Gembrook trails or thereabouts. be leaving Cranbourne area/ Patterson Lakes, nothing too serious as leaving the bush bikes in the garage. just a pleasant ride with Miss Daisy
