Legal advise on Temp importation.

People can get away with many things anywhere. My post was the legal situation. There are many practical solutions, some that involve more risk, but don't say that the law is never enforce my friends. I don't practice law in Mexico any more but I have many friends that do. They receive and I've received many clients that run into these legal problem because they were badly advised. I would not advise not advise anyone on an open forum to go to any country and run the risk of breaking the law and offer the police a bribe. That is a possible practical solution, and it can be done, but you run a risk. Then people come back with a negative taste of the country they just visited and criticize it and its people when in fact they were the ones that initiated the wrong doing.
There are some better practical solutions. Towing the vehicle out of the country is one. The fiscal police who watch for thest types of infraction usully do not pay attention to motorcycles unless it really stands out. If you get it out of the country then there has been no wrong doing. But I would advise not to present this vehicle againg for another temporary importation permit. The advise I have given is a legal one not a practical one.
