Independent Moto Wrench in Corona CA ~ Lior's Motoride ~ Dude's Meticulous

i have been reading about liors motoride... a 1 man moto wrench operation off the 91 at the maple street exit...

i had a new set of works performance fork springs... all fork components for a complete rebuild... steering head bearings... rotor bobbins... tires and misc other ch1t... then my boss decided to send me away or a month...

so i called up lior and he agreed to do the work and store my moto for a month... when i dropped it off i quizzed him about the repairs cause most bmw techs really dont now much about the old motobricks... i was prepared to roll if he wasnt up for the job... but it was clearly obvious he knew all about the innards and workings of the motobrick so i left it with him...

picked it up... he gave me all the old parts for a closer look... i shook it down and all is good...

while away i have learned that some of my moto acquaintances have been using lior with good results... they just never shared the info with me... so im posting it up here to share a good shop with yawl... he also has a moto trailer for pick up n delivery n roadside service when needed... im thinking lior was born with a wrench in his hand...

if you want a competent wrench specializing in bmw husqvarna ktm and experience with others... you may wanna give lior a go...

haha, you're not first satisfied customer who started a thread recommending lior.....

last i heard, he's a reseller of those almost bullet proof "double take mirror".

http://www.doubletakemirror.com/

lior has been at my house many times. he fixed my bike and got me home when my 640 broke down in utah last december.

we have a few good mechanics that are active here on the board, they're less expensive than the dealer and they kept a good reputation.

+1

User him for an "emergency" tire swap this morning. Did it right away. Knew what he was doing. (Not that a tire swap is a big deal but still...)

Reasonable price.

Decent guy.

Thumb Lior is Great

Super guy.

I asked him to do some work (valves, fork seals, tire change, etc) on my Duke ll last fall after some heavy commuting and never being seen by a real mechanic for years... he did the work that was needed, told me why it didn't need the work that wasn't needed, and when I wasn't able to get out to Corona to pick it up due to work pressure, he delivered it back to me as a favor the next time he had to pick up a bike my area - a couple of hours away in traffic.

He also gave me some advice a month ago when it was dying unexpectedly. Fortunately, I was able to fix that myself. Anyway, Lior is an awesome fellow, and I shouldn't have taken so long to say so!

Thanks, man.

Yes.

He had 3 or 4 of them out front when I took my 950 SE in for a service.

I'll recommend him, no reservations.

Good to know, my luck with 950 wrenchers has been pretty poor.

Okay, great guy but ...

So I never met the guy or had my bike serviced there but am curious, how good/busy is he because he spams the crap out of CL ... multiple posts daily, multiple regions daily.

Makes me not want to bring a bike there.
