ADV Christmas Party 2.0

Attention Alaska Inmates:
This year's Christmas Party will be held at Alaska Leather (due to the unavailability of the Club Haus) from 6:30 to 10:00 on the 17th of December. There will be tacky videos running (bring one if you have one) and a gift exchange. It will be pot luck, so bring a dish to share and a gift worth no more than $20. Also it's BYOFC - bring you own folding chair - if you want a place to sit. The Chair Crew will have the night off. Beezer, will you be here or on some tropical shore? Can there be live music?

I'm in! Unless by some chance I make it to Hawaii! I may even have to brew some beer with last year's gift to take there!

I am in.

We have something like 20 folding chairs at our shop on Spenard. Would only take a few minutes for me to throw them in Old Blue if I had a hand or two. We also have a few folding tables around, there about 3 foot by 10 foot. I could throw one of those in the truck too if you think it might be needed.

Dave, Maybe we can grab the folding chairs at headquarters, or at least a few of them to donate to the cause? We will figure out something.

See you guys there.

Bring them. Bring the long table, we can set up a long table with chairs and rotate the diners. Thanks, Barb

Sorry, Beezer. . I spoke without clearing it with the hostess. Not a good time (or enough space) for a band this time. She said we can plan for the swap meet in the spring.

Anybody want to sing carols?

This may sound corny, but a very enjoyable tradition for me over the holidays has always been playing the piano and singing Christmas carols. If anybody would like to listen to Christmas carols and/or sing for a little while during the party, let me know and I can bring my portable keyboard, which takes up very little room.

I'm still not sure if I'm going to the party as I may go winter camping with some guys and sleep out under a tarp in Ship Creek Valley while we do some trail-clearing on the Arctic to Indian ski trail. I like trail clearing, but sleeping under a tarp sounds a little chilly.
