Loop Through The West

Took a nice loop through the West a few weeks ago. Missed Glacier because it was still closed, but some nice riding still!

Rocky Mountain NP, CO

Big Horn NF, WY

Chief Joseph Highway, WY

Beartooth Pass, WY-MT

Lolo Pass, ID

Good brews in Newport, WA, with Scout Man, and an excellent KOA.

North Cascades Hwy, WA

Birdsview Brewery, Concrete, WA (That's the brewmaster's daughter), and another excellent KOA.

Fun in Seattle, WA

Bainbridge Ferry, WA

Bainbridge Island, WA

A little learning took place in Keyport, WA

And then it was time to get back on the road.

Mt. Rainier NP, WA

A very enjoyable 10 day ride! Cheers!

Very nice. You definitely hit some of the more beautiful (paved) roads in the Northwest.

Great photos! And getting a break from the Texas heat must have been nice. Is your riding partner's name Ronnie? I've talked to him at BMW events for many years and even have a photo of him, but I'm not good with names.

Robert
Ron Bilberry. He likes the rallies, so you probably have run into him. He can quite often be found sitting under a Texas flag or a Come and Take It flag, regardless of what state he is rallying in.

Thanks! The next time you see Ron please tell him that Robert, the GS rider from Houston, said hello. I see that we have the same packing methods on our R1200GS-Adventures. Aluminum luggage, tank bag and a duffel bag. I'm still running Anakee-2 tires, but when they wear out I'll get a set of Anakee-3. Your photos are making me want to hit the road and get out of this city.
