[QUOTE=xymotic;17313965]There are only so many ways to make a tank-bag. The Fandango is a very good bag, but it's design is not terribly different from others (just better).
However The Giant-loop, Mojavi and Coyote are radically different from EVERY other design on the market, and yeah, the item in question are exact copies. QUOTE] I have no intention of getting intangled into a big argument here, but the above statement is just not true. I have the giant loop bag as I think it is a good bit of kit, VERY expensive especialy this side of the pond but it is not unique, I had a bag almost identical back in the 80's from a european manufacturer, it was U shaped the same, made out of the same material (ok earlier version of). It fixed to the rear footpegs, ok there are minor differences and the external straps fix in a different manner (steel loop as opposed to sewn on) but basicaly the same design of bag and the reason for getting the Giant loop was that the earlier version is no longer available, but my point is the GL bag is only as different from my original one in such elements as various types of tank bag are different, it is not in any way unique. |

Well, NOT replying to something I wrote over a year ago would be a good way to not start an argument.

I just bought a new never used Fandango off of the main FM here. Why GL charges @ $164.00 for this thing is beyond me plus they don't bother to seam seal it for you but include instructions for doing it yourself. Does GL think that some of us don't want a totally waterproof tank bag?

I love this thread, its got more traction than a Cleveland Steamer being driven by Ol' Dirty Sanchez.
