Really amazing stuff. I can't find it anywhere for sale, but once it is I think I'd coat everything I had in it, including my bike. Then again....maybe it's too good. How could you wash clothes treated with it (or maybe you'd never need to?). |

NeverWet Superhydrophobic Spray
I just came across this video on the web. According to their website, the stuff will be available to consumers mid 2012.
I'm just imagining my windshield and visor treated with this stuff, let alone my jacket. http://wimp.com/superhydrophobiccoating/

Wow. That's amazing.
But how do you wash your shirt?

Excellent question...
...and I have no idea! I do know one thing though... if you get in a chocolate syrup war, your shirt won't get dirty at all.

The shirt will never really get dirty because it repels the dirt so you don't need to wash it!
I would like to stand in line for several cans of this stuff, where does it start?

Nothing is 100% as good as it sounds. I bet whatever you spray with this (clothing wise) will end up with the breathability of a water baloon. I wonder how stiff clothing ends up after you spray it with it.
