Visit a Brewery, Post Pics

Gonna try a new thread here guys. Go visit a local micro or nano brewery then post some pics and maybe a review. I'll start with Top Shelf Brewing in Manchester, CT

So it's not much to look at but they have a lot of different offerings. Very good beer! Free tastings, too!!! This is a real small batch operation.

I can play.

Went to Trinity Brewhouse (Providence), which I do on most Friday afternoons.

I had a mug of Red (Tommy's). Review: delicious.

This is what gets sent to the taps:

Whisky barrels for aging the Scotch Ale or similar brews:

Fermenting Irish Stout:

Glamour shot

ok, my turn! Since I was at work today, slaving away to earn the money that cheesebot spends at Trinity, I've gone into the archives from the 2013 Vermont camping trip.

First stop: Long Trail Brewing Co., Bridgewater Corners, VT

Sadly the bottler wasn't running. I love this kind of industrial stuff.

Pretty cool job

Next up? Hill Farmstead Brewery, 403 Hill Road, Greensboro, VT 05842

So, I don't drink a lot of beer being a cider and scotch aficionado. We stopped at Hill Farmstead because the guy who owns the liquor store we go to (Jim) was begging us. We actually rode around Vermont for 2 weeks with a bottle stashed for him (in return, he gave us two 4-packs of Heady Topper, which we didn't make it to).

It was really hot; the sun was baking my Celtic skin as we waited in line for about an hour and 40 minutes...time that I could have been riding. It was crawling with hipsters and the conversations were VERY entertaining. One guy was buying stuff for his wedding reception. These gents were very serious about their beer.

That's the tasting tent.

Pouring my Everett Porter (I do like a goooood porter)

Who wouldn't love a owl that drinks Belgian beer?

The land next to the brewery had a grown-over motocross track.

Back to the campsite for grass-fed sirloin with bleu cheese, just picked spinach, and roasted spuds (purchased at a farm stand on the Bayley-Hazen). What more could this Irish girl ask for?

The Pour

Everett Porter and Susan IPA

I do like stouts and this porter was dark and delicious. I slept well that night.

I LOVE Trinity! I've been there several times when we were in town for a Providence Bruins/WBS Penguins AHL hockey game

There's a great brewery called Susquehanna a couple miles down the road from me, so I promise to get a pic or two.

Feline, North of Montrose out rt 29, 5.5 miles. They are on the right just before Salt Springs Park.

Ps. Just read in the paper this AM that Breaker Brewing is opening a pub in Wilkes barre.

Thanks Tim, will definitely have to check that out. It's been awhile since I've ridden through there. Breaker has great and unique beers. Their tasting room in W-B Twp. has been open for some time, but they just got their license to sell pints. It's worth a visit. It's in an old Catholic school building and it has some nice character.
