As long as you tell me the country that's quisine is featured at that restaurant, along with the continent of that country, that's what I asked for.

So if these are the seven, then we've got seven countries and five continents, and the grab is yours.

Ethiopia, Africa
Russia, Europe
Greece, Europe
The United States of America, North America
China, Asia
Thailand, Asia
Brasil, South America

New Challenge

7 solidly "old tech" devices: such as things that are steam powered, analog, human or animal-powered, gear-driven, objects clearly from our past, etc.. You get the idea.

Anti file item is a glove on the right mirror/handlebar.

Damn..... too bad I'm in Virginia for a few days. This one would be fun and I could fulfill the challenge without even leaving my property.

Do you have a steam engine in your shop?

When are you coming north through dirty Jersey? Give a shout and I'll buy you a cup o' coffee

Sadly, I can't participate, I'm neither in Greater Flugistan for the rest of the month nor have a bike with me, but there are stream-powered objects all around.

Last year around this time I was in Antwerp for 2 months, and the first two pictures date from then. The big red building in the background is the new museum in the harbour, The MAS (Museum Aan de Stroom), it didn't open until after I left:

The crane in the foreground is the last floating steam-powered crane in the harbour

Yesterday I got to visit the museum, it's a very diverse collection but, of course, there is a lot of big machinery represented. This is the other side of "Vlotkraan 9", from the top of the MAS:

If the above is, the new list may not be up until after midnight. It will depend upon if I can get a break after 9pm.

The next task is "Your State" - the items must be in/of the state in which you reside

1 - The State Capitol building

2 - The State Supreme Court building

3 - A State Police car

4 - A State Park

5 - Something your state is known for; I.E. The Monster Mile (Dover Downs race track) for Delaware or Three Mile Island for PA.

6 - Something from this site - http://www.roadsideamerica.com/ - please include link to the item

7 - A buisness that references the state or what the state is called. I.E. The first state or Diamond State for DE, Keystone State for PA or Empire State for NY. You getthe idea.

File item is what ever you want it to be or nothing at all.

I have to work tomorrow, but I think I can get five or six of those on my way in. Somehow I don't think it'll be too hard to find something MA is known for in downtown Boston, either.

My state these days is Massachusetts.

1 - The State Capitol building

Apparently they do so much business here they need a special entrance!

2 - The State Supreme Court building
John Adams Courthouse:

3 - A State Police car
Never a cop when you need one! Finally found one at the Dunkin Donuts:

4 - A State Park
My first 3 choices turned out to be "Reservations", not "Parks". What's the difference? Nobody knows. Fortunately the people I was supposed to be working with weren't ready when I arrived at 0800, and couldn't get their shit together in anything like a reasonable amount of time, so I was able to leave and go for a ride.

Minuteman Statue in Lexington:

6 - Something from this site - http://www.roadsideamerica.com/ - please include link to the item
Rooftop Milk Truck: http://goo.gl/0uGph

(West Lynn Creamery became Garelick Farms in 1998, sometime since then they repainted the truck)

7 - A buisness that references the state or what the state is called. I.E. The first state or Diamond State for DE, Keystone State for PA or Empire State for NY. You getthe idea.
