Sorry, not even close to hwy 20.

The small town is on a main east/west road but we are sitting on a secondary paved road. By road we are at least 20 mi from the town and 30+ from the fire.

Lots of you ride this area. I thought the skyline would be obvious. I guess not.

Went on that road in my Subaru to go skiing on glacier on July 8th..first and only time on the road..Packwood is a cool town..Packwood Hotel is even cooler..Goat Rocks was our first choice to ski, but too much snow on access road in July!

Sorry Tourist...but I don't do the "Mug" and post pictures...take another turn.

I do greatly appreciate all the photos posted here and the pointers for some great rides!
