Come on people. Where was this taken from? What direction? What town in the distance?

What mountains on the horizon? Guess Something?

I assumed it was probably Steptoe butte, but it had already been featured on here at least twice in the last 4 months... I was just hoping it wasn't, I guess.

No I wasn't being sarcastic. What was being looked for, nearest town, where it was taken from, etc wasn't asked. A picture of the Palouse was posted and that's what I guessed.

While the Palouse may be obvious to you and others that live in the Palouse or on the outer edges it might not be obvoius to many people besides Idarider said it was easy.
