not

That's not "real road racing". Google "NorthWest 200", Ulster Grand Prix" or "Isle of Man TT".

While I agree that the Isle of Man is a classic race, this "urban canyon" racing does have its attraction, very impressive for what it is, just like the Isle of Man's attraction for what it is.

Sure its real, Irish roadracing is pretty unique but that is still roadracing.
The difference is that most Irish courses are rural whereas this is in Macau.
The Munster 100 of 2010 was held in a small town called Dunmanway in West Cork. Its still roadracing because its held on a road not a short circuit.

You may well be right, it is a bit more street than road, but I was talking more about the riders than the circuit. I live 35 miles from the NW circuit, 10 miles from the Ulster Grand Prix circuit and have been to the Isle of Man TT for the last 9 years, and the others since I was a child, The Macau circuit is public roads the riders are mainly Irish/TT road racers including Hutchinson, Rutter, Toye, Dunlops etc. and if you fall off you will probably die as opposed to sliding gracefully through a gravel trap. Macau is kind of the end of the season for the Road Race guys and I heard it was invitation only, if you fell off you weren't invited again. Granted there isn't as much cow shit on the road as you would get at an Irish Road Race and the Chinese don't seem to build very many dry stone walls.

EDIT, Forgot about the Great Wall of China doh!

Entertainment and enlightenment

I got a real kick out of the Macau street track race. Thanks for the link. I most appreciate the excellent camera angles and the fact that there is jockeying for position for the win in addition to battling in a very small space. A few of the shots reminded me of the wall of death and made me wonder when those guys are going to figure out how to use the vertical walls as berms and ride around curves on the outer circumference of the walls parallel to the ground.
