I'm not sure they're sandbagging. I think it may take them a few races to get the car sorted. They went down a blind alley on their initial exhaust treatment, I believe.

well with Ross "the cheater" Brawn at the helm.. there's no telling.
I think Nico will safely best his elder team-mate yet again.

Oh! You put actual effort, thought, and reasoning into your selection!! I did the "anyone other then Hamilton and Schumi" thing!!

Yeah, as long as he makes it through turn 3 on lap 1... he has always done well in Melbourne, and the forecast is for sun, which in Melbourne that means it will piss down, and we saw in Canada last year and any other race where it rained, he still has it.

But yes, very ambitious pick.

With it being the first race and everyone still sorting out the new cars, I'd say that a Schummi win is fairly possible if there's rain and the Mercedes design turns out ok for this year. The next practice and qually will be interesting.

Hoping for a surprise or a Vettel mistake. But I think the Red Bull is still the fastest car. They're ahead of everyone else at pushing the rules on using exhaust gas and diffuser.

You got it, zenjen. Hamilton will have a great year. Button is just as fast. Looks like McLaren has it together this year.

Till Hamilton has personal problems...

Begining and middle and end. Three parts... Lots and lots can and does happen!
