love the looks, or hate them... you can't argue with the fact that from a technology point of view they are pure sex

What flabbergasted me, and still does, is that it can take 5 months to make a single F1 brake disk.

![]() Interesting qualifying. Booton and the Aussie dood sure got it all crossed up. Should be a great race tomorrow. Love the circuit. I'm thinking Fred or Team Lotus after Louise and Nado take each other out. Yeah, Kimi for the win.

Fascinating qualifying!
I'm amazed at how much difference a 1 degree drop in track temperature made. It basically bumped Button out of Q3. Gosh, these cars are sensitive! (Full credit to Steve Matchett for explaining what was happening. Button didn't know, he was bewildered.) Hamilton's fuel fiasco is remarkable. He was half a second faster than second place. I wonder how much of that was due to his lower fuel weight? A terrible error in judgment by the McLaren team. For such a well-run operation, they seem to be their own worst enemies (pit stops killed them in Bah-rain.) Alonso being 3rd fastest and Vettel not even registering a time in Q3 is also a huge change. Horses for courses, or a trend? Based on the season so far, the former? A Williams on the pole? Fantastic! Regardless of the reason, what a boost for a proud team that has endured terrible times since losing BMW. Wow! And Lotus continues to nip at the leaders. 4 and 5 (now 3 and 4), solid and a true indicator of the car. Plus, Grosjean continues to impress. Poor old Kubica, what he might have done with this car. I believe they said every Barcelona winner has come from pole. Man, how great would a Williams victory be? I'm loving this unpredictable season.

ps As if to celebrate Chelsea's sponsorship deal with Sauber, following the F1 race, in the United States Speed will show Chelsea's final match, against Blackburn Rovers.

Hamilton may mug a few, but it likely won't be enough of them.
Stripped of pole position and starting at the back of the grid. Wow. http://www.crash.net/f1/news/179630/..._position.html.

We'll see if Hamilton's new ZEN calmness will prevail and have climb from the back without taking out himself, or anyone else.
