I don't think so: Webber's got a bit of Honey Badger in him. Be interesting to see if it effects Vettel. I think this is a 3-way title fight between Alonso, Webber, and Vettel. I like all three, but I'm rooting for Webber.

I'd love to see Webber top Vettel in the points tally at season's end. I really do think that Red Bull will be hard to beat from now on.

You get this from one race? Ferrari not impressive? McClaren closing shop (though admittedly Button may think so) and Renault/Lotus are acting as back markers?

Red Bull (compared to the last few years) only had one way to go!

Nope, they are not going to walk. Alonso's skill set is too great, and Ferrari are on track with their car.

Besides, KIMI is starting to look very racy!!!

Two races. Weather and circumstances undid them (if you consider 1st and 3rd being "undone.") But it's clear the car has markedly improved and is now the machine to beat.

Ferrari have benefited from tremendous driving by Alonso and great luck. They've improved, but not enough.

Posey and his overly dramatic, overly sappy harkens to a time whence men were men were not missed that day. He's annoying as the day is long. Not as bad as his commentating days when he damn near flitted about the mic in literary poetic every time Mika Hakkinen was on screen, but still annoying nonetheless.

If I remember correctly Webber for years and years has done one-year only contracts by choice.
I'd think that would keep you pretty motivated.

how much did "track" figure into it? There are so many variables involved.

Again, I don't think they are NOT going to do well, a win or two, but I don't think we will see them walk away from the start as they did in years prior.

Other's have closed the performance gap, and tires and such have narrowed the performance gap.

Besides, Maldonado is lurking out on track, like a predatory shark, waiting to take other's out with little provocation.

That's the thing, a street course and a proper track. Both ends of the spectrum. In Valencia Vettel won pole but lost his alternator. Silverstone was a rainy mess yet Red Bull still got a 1-3.

I personally think Red Bull are looking very strong, its not going to be as clear cut as last year, but Vettel was .4s clear in Valencia.
I think he will be the one to beat, but am personally hoping Webber gets up.

That is very neat, thankyou - you always post great info/tech stuff

I will be interested to see if the the slats fitted to the top of the sidepods stay with the car on all tracks, or if it is something only fitted to it for hot tracks.
