LOL KLR nation is on it!

I don't think there were winners or losers... Just bikes with different strengths and weaknesses. I pick the faster bike that looks cooler

KLR is a great bike though, I may get one for my son to ride one day.

Glad you liked the trip report.

Amen!! Too often inmates get into the "this bike is better than that" etc. Its about the ride be it 37hp or 98hp and swapping lies around the campfire over some good bourbon!.

I really enjoyed your report. The perfect bike to do the TAT on is the one that you have. We did Oklahoma to Port Orford in '08 and your photos and story brought back some memories. Makes me want to do it again.
Inmate Rufus opened one of those gates in Nevada the hard way too. Fortunately he only suffered some lost hide on his forearms and the antenna from his 276c.

Your report just reinforces my desire to get a dual sport. I'd love to be out there riding those trails.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the ride report, fun stuff. I hope to do the CO part of the TAT in July or August this year. Either of you going on this BC ride in September? http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=747592

I rode with LexLuther in Baja earlier this year.
