Ouachita National Forest ( circa hot springs, ak)

well, 8 hours of driving, 4 hours of sleep, one spare tire after austin...

couple hours later stopped by a small creek for a break...

and a few pictures...

awesome mountain gravel roads...

even some atv trails in the woods...

some roadside assistance (he's stealing my gas.)...

we saw a klr flying down the road and stalked him through some fun gravel...

we stopped at the high point of the road and talked for a while. mike tried out joe's 400 e and joe tried out my 400 s...

we checkedd out the local scenic overlook which had an awesome view a firepit and a couple good spots for tents..

then i went and broke my bike..

eletron shrugs.. that's what i do.. i break things..

the next day we drovae around in the truck.. and found one town that felt like home for some reason...

and we had another fire that night:

we found a bunch of scrap wood on the side of the road on our way back to camp and loaded a bunch in the pickup.

it got kinda big:

and then the fire fell asleep:

a storm came through in the morning and i didn't feel like riding w/o a front brake in the rain.. so we took off..

i've got a new brake line and a new front tire.. time to go break my bike some more..
