New Baja Designs Squadron LED Motorcycle Light

Finally got my Squadron installed and wired on the HP2. Used the BD dimmer at 20% for the low-beam. I used the stock wiring to feed the Squadron for both the low and high beam operation.

So I have a 2011 690 enduro that requires some better lighting.
I also really want some type of windscreen for those longer trips.
Is anyone using a screen on the Squadron / Acerbis headlight mask?

Paul, I am going to ask our riders here and see if they have any cool ideas or what screen may work best for you. I'll let you know when we have a few option and I'm sure quite a few people on here will help as well.

These will be all the parts you will need in order to run a better light, but keep in mind if you are using it for a dual sport bike than you will still have to run a 35w bulb for the best efficiency. If you are using it for a race light you can run the Squadron and a few other lights. If you have any questions just let me know.

As I prepare to convert my KDX 220 over to DC to run the Squadron as a Race-only light in the Polisport mask, has anyone else done this type of conversion (AC to DC) to run the Squadron light yet?

Also, while it appears the mask is a universal fit, are there particular dimensions the forks must have for it to fit (i.e. tube diameter, center-to-center distance, etc.), or is it likely to fit all full-size dirt bikes?

Can't help with the AC to DC part, but the mask should fit fine. There's plenty of adjustment in the rubber straps to fit the forks of most bikes.

Maybe a way to remove the stock lens/reflector (Or just the reflector and leave the lens?) and replace them with two Squadrons...

I believe I have asked you before, but what model super enduro do you have? I am assuming that you don't have the crash bars, but I may have a few ideas for the different models. Let me know.

No crash bars. And the lights will need to be in tight, my bike spends some of it's time sleeping...


Maybe I should pull the head light shell apart and see if that will give us some mounting options.

Yea, I agree the best way to mount would most likely be to remove the stock lens/reflector and see exactly how much room you have. We had thought about a fork mount, but it will only work on a few adv bikes. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I will ask our engineers more about and have them look into it. Nice pictures though, looks like some sketchy trails
