Nicely done, Desertspistons!!!
Maybe except for the front-rack - but that's because of my general dislike of these things. Too much influence into the steering of a bike ... And one more question: You stuck to a near-to-original size of the exhaust-system. Wouldn't the bike benefit in breath (and looks) from a slightly bigger diameter? This point was, in my eyes, it's biggest dis-advantage at the bike's first appearance in the 80s of the last century. But, as said, you did a great job! So now go out and have fun with it!!! Kind regards, Bambi

V65ttr exhaust
Thanks Bambi
Regarding the exhaust pipes, I was given the Dakar guzzi pipes and I decided to install them on my TT. I like to have a piece of history on the bike. You maybe right regarding the diameter of the tubing even though I don't for sure if this effects torque or max top end HP. The last definitely not needed for such a bike. If I had a custom exhaust system I would have definitely explore that avenue Tschuss. Quote:

Desertpistons,
Hats off to you sir. I love the build you completed! I am very influenced by your bike. Ive got a V65TT that i picked up last year and am slowly building it. Although i kept tossing my ideas here and there, im pretty sure ive got it set now. Your bike has givin me quite the inspiration to get out and bust some a** on my project. Thanks!

Hi Desertpistons,
these 'I was given the Dakar guzzi pipes and I decided to install them on my TT. and '... max top end HP. The last definitely not needed for such a bike. ' are strong points. I agree! Kind regards, Bambi
