This sound great, but depending the time you establish, i have may have existing confilcts with time I am already committed. If you get a route defined, I'd like to check it out with my GPS map program.

Sounds like a fun ride
I have heard about the MT1000 and it sounds like fun. I can't set my schedule yet but will put this on the wish list.

Great route
That's a great looking route through country I have not seen. July is too far away to commit to anything just yet but I'm definitely interested. Would also be interested in plugging the GPS files into my machine when you're handing them out. Subscribed!

Hey Timmer- not to hijack the thread, but did you ever hear how Senior Moment made out after his trip to MT1000 was cut short last year? I hope he is OK.
Would love to ride with you again this year but a new job will most likely keep me close to home.

Sorry, I've not heard anything since summer. Perhaps someone else has current info.

Here is the message I got from Brian back in October
I hope he doesn't mind that I share it with everyone.....
Dale - I somehow managed to low side the KLX at good speed on the pass in the rocks. Pounded the right side of my old carcass between the bike and the ground rocks. Was picked up by the Darby EMT's, taken to the hospital in Hamilton then helicoptered from there to Missoula the same day. Was in the ICU for two days and they were about to ship me off to Seattle because they coul not deal with the problems of a torn artery next to my heart caused by the blunt force trauma. Also had a concussion, 8 breaks in my ribs on the right side, a broken piece of hip bone, broken clavicle and had lost most of the use of my right arm because of the nerves being stretched. My oldest daughter's hubby is an orthopedic surgeon in Whitefish and one of his former partners from his Billings practice found out about my crash late at night, called St. Patrick's Hospital in Missoula and had me flown to Billings where he had a vascular surgeon and a general surgeon waiting for me. Vascular doc put in an aortic stent and saved me from the 95% chance of dying from this type of injury. I spent another week in the ICU in St. Vincent's Hospital in Billings, another week of acute care and a third week of therapy care before getting home in early August weighing 20 pounds less. Since then, I've been recovering at a good pace and the right arm is coming along well. Ribs still hurt, but nowhere near as much. Going to be a while before I can ride - forever, according to Mrs. Moment. Would have been a dead old fork for sure if it wasn't for the riding gear. A lot to be said for good stuff. The only marks on me were some internal blood line marks over the broken ribs. Think I'm still radio active from all the CT scans. Docs were surprised that I did not tear the rotator cuff. Go figure. I'd say that Brian is a pretty tough old cob. Let's all send our best wishes his way and hope that new set of wheels is in the garage by now, Dale

ZZO is in
Timmer: I rode with you on the last three days of the MT 1000 last summer on the XT 250. Finding you guys at the end of the Gravelly's was a hoot. I just found the pictures you posted. Very nice. Barring major family or work issues, I'd like to do the 2012 MT ride. Thanks for working on it and I look forward to hearing more.
Pat
