with my license i've done ~3500km (i only got to ride for about 3 months, then it got cold) (dr200 now has around 8000km, and my new used dr650 took the rest) and it just never gets old. i can't wait for the snow to go away so i can ride some more. hope i don't wear out my tire for the bc ride though. i'll put on a new one (recommendations? front and rear) this winter when i have time, along with an ims tank and maybe some other mods.

can't wait for next year's ride!

Some nice tires that will last along time but are a little pricey are the Mefo Explorer or the Heidenau K60. You can get them at A Vicious Cycle. http://aviciouscycle.ca/MainPages/Pr...spx?modelId=58

Cheers

+1 for the K60s. Worth every penny. I have almost 15,000km on mine and lots of tread left.

Laugh Count me in.

I'm looking forward to this ride. Count me in! I should be able to motivate some of the other guys from Prince George to join (will depend on how far we have to go!)
I went on Manxman's trip last year--June. Had a blast. (thanks for organizing!).
