I think it's some sort of emissions item, there are two hoses coming from the front and bottom of the circular part in front of the plug, one hose has a plastic braided line going forward, the hose off the bottom goes to the tank on the left side of the fuel lines.

one goes in and another goes outto the white cap and hose on the rear of the tank.

That looks like the plug, but mine is just sitting under the fuel pipes doing nothing as I mentioned.

I don't have the thing with 11T353N on it in your pic, or the two metal mounting tangs to locate its rubber mount either. Bike bought Nov 2012.

Since you're in the USA (?) and I'm in the UK emissions seems a good call, but I'm surprised on a small simple bike with a cat any more control is needed? I wonder what it actually does?

Attention the catalyst is in the silencer of origin.
The leovince has no catalyst. The noise risks to be important.
Certain marks (remus, arrow) propose silencers integrating a catalytic cartridge. Can be better?

im not really concerned about the noise level. i listened to a couple examples on youtube. its not very loud

Mic auto-gain control seldom enables video to adequately impart any sense of dB output. I'm not saying that the pipe is excessively loud, only that the only real barometer is to hear one for yourself up close an' personal. Recordings give you a sense of the timbre and pitch, but not of volume.

My 2-yen worth. :)

I just received my Leo Vince today. Not installed yet, but it weighs just over 7 1/2 lbs. I'll weigh the stock exhaust when I take it off.

Others have weighed the stock exhaust at around 14.5 lbs. -7 lbs matched with better airflow and exhaust note and a space for a large tool tube all for about $320 plus shipping seems like a pretty sweet deal to me. I'll be looking into doing that after I pick up the tall seat and an adjustable windscreen bracket.

Figured I'd throw up a picture. I'm sure I have a picture of a sleeping Serts around here somewhere, but this will do for now.

I installed the Leo Vince exhaust this morning. It took about 45 minutes, the biggest challenge was removing the stock exhaust. A little bit of persuasion with a hammer and a piece of maple and it was off. The Leo Vince slid right on with a perfect fit. Started it up, let idle for 15 minutes and took it for a ride. The power increase is quite noticeable and it sounds great - not to loud. For weight, the stock was 13.5 lbs and the Leo Vince was 6.5lbs. I would recommend this mod to your Sertao.
