How upsetting. I know why Richt called the play he called at the end of the game. Bama was on its heals after the long pass and he was trying to catch them out of position. It is to bad the ball was tipped. It looked like Murray was throwing to the back corner for a jump ball and it was tipped.

The game had so many ups and downs, when we blocked that field goal and Ogletree ran it back, I thought we had the game. There are so many ways to wonder how things could of, or should of been. It just was not our night.

Hell of a game though.

I understand that Florida's supposed to be a lock for the Sugar Bowl, but many think that Georgia is much more deserving to go. With last nights' game being as tight as it was and Georgia beating Florida, won't be shocked to see if the BCS selection committee agrees.

As a UGA homer, I would love this. I don't see it happening though. Florida earned their right to play in the Sugar Bowl. We had a chance to play for the BCS Championship game. We just did not take care of business. That is as the say, the way the cookie crumbles.

Bama v. Georgia game last night was the best football I have seen in decades. The Bama v. ND game will probably be a let down. Thank goodness it is still five weeks away.

Well, the "many" who don't think Georgia deserves to go, think the only team to beat Alabama, at home no less, deserves to go.

I know there's going to be some of this sentiment, but I see it like this: technically, the east was a three way tie. Georgia and Florida were both two of those teams. The tie breaker for the SEC championship went to Georgia because they had the highest bcs ranking. To ignore the BCS ranking and go with Georgia would be somewhat unfair considering they already got the benefit of the doubt to play Alabama.

Uhm, The SEC East was a 2-way tie. Florida and Georgia are co-champions...that's the way it works.

Georgia won the first tie breaker, head-to-head result, so gets the right to play for the conference championship. Florida is going to the higher ranked bowl for the simple reason that they have a higher BCS ranking. In this specific case, there is no option of who to pick by the Sugar Bowl because UF is in the top 4 of the BCS.

I don't know if UF is better than UGA, but they have earned the higher ranking.
