Um... I just installed a Scotts Steering Damper too, using Loaded's underbar mount and bar risers. I had the frame bracket welded on, then I cleaned things up and painted the welds to match the frame and to prevent rust from building up on the bare metal.

The steering damper works great! I highly recommend this upgrade. My bike also has the KTM ralley pegs, they work fine for my needs.

I've got a 40T Stealth m/s sprocket and x-ring chain on the way, as well as a 15T c/s sprocket. That should about do it for my bike upgrades. Oh... I added a Wunderlich wind screen from an F650 too. My disposable income is about tapped out for the next few months, but I'm really liking the upgrades I've made.

yep, I alway start by the bleeping index (thanks for keeping it, BTW)... but after having seen the clean looking installation of the fan, I suspect something nicer might have come up!

groovy baby!

well, we'll just have to wait for WageSlave to make something nicer...

ps - I do recall that Loaded was considering having a windshield manufacturer create a windscreen for the LC4 Adventure if we got enough interest here, but then I suppose he didn't persue the idea (or maybe it's in the works?).

I'll take some pics of the installed screen this afternoon.
It's this one by the way...

I like the transition from black at the bottom to clear smoke at the top. I purchased it from the online store at BMW of Santa Cruz. I may post the pics on the wind screen thread rather than hijack this one.

Actually WageSlave gets KUDOS for this mod currently. His findings and methods are the Cat's Meow!

Does anyone know what the part number is for the plastic connector on the stock fan? It looks like a Molex type connector, or possibly a Phillmore, but I am having trouble finding info on it. My local electronics shop doesn't have it in stock (no surprise), in fact they're "downsizing." They gave up a good chunk of their retail floor space to a neighboring business.

Websites for both Mouser and the Molex haven't produced the answers I'm seeking.

If there are any electrical geniuses out there... let me know what you know.

Thanks.
