Update. Install was stupid easy. Hard wired it to the battery with an on off switch on the handlebars. Noticeable difference as the temp drops immediately. Does anybody know if the thermostat that comes with the kit is the lower temp thermometer?

Would somebody be willing to teach me how to wire a second fan so I can also mount a switch....in order to manually control the second fan....??
Sorry, I'm an electrical idiot......

looking for dimensions of the radiators
can anyone provide me with the approximate size of each radiator on the 640 LC4?
I'm currious how they might work on a BMW F650GS single, which has a single, thin radiator which is 25% blocked by the main frame...I was thinking about looking for a custom pair of radiators but figured they would cost too much. Maybe a pair from the KTM would be suitable and a cheaper option than custom? -also, can anyone tell me why these engines are running so hot? I know the fan kicks in quite a bit on my bike, but maybe the Rotax does run as hot as the LC4 and can thus get away with a smaller radiator? -thoughts? |

![]() Disconnect the two stock wires from the thermoswitch, plug in your new wires (with the piggyback connectors) then re-attach the stock wires onto the piggybacks. Now you have manual control of your fan, which will still work via the thermoswitch normally if you haven't manually activated it. In my experience, if I turn the fan on early, I don't need a second fan. The key is to get air flowing asap when your speeds get low. Your mileage may vary. |

Just for feed back fitted fan as per right had side but wired into the unused power lines for the factory fitted road book plug just above the lights. Just not the brightest as I added the road book a year earlier and hard wired that into the 12 V aux socket. I just couldn't figure what fuse I would require, but in both cases hoping that both are fused to main box at battery.
Fan works fine on manual toggle. Someone with some sense of electricity can let me know how dump this is or is piggybacking ok ? Cheers
