focous on lathe mill tig operations

this is a custom manifold mount on a xl 500 motor to suit mukuni carb .
using angle table on faceplate.

klr hub to suit husky rear.

cush drive conversion.

custon axle (smaller dia)spacers for swingarm disc, bearings

Turned the husky 610 into a super smoth enduro machine with extra service life for the transmision.
very easy conversion if you have a decent lathe . wheels are cheep too.

Made these triples for my CB400F project...

2nd bearing for the DL1000 rear sprocket carrier as means to eliminate sprocket twisting under acceleration -

Eliminating the infamous DL1000 "clutch chudder" using the "Sharealike" approach -

Mounting a larger Africa Twin front rotor and a DL1000 caliper on an XR650L to improve braking without needing to go the 320mm supermoto route -

Life is WAY more fun w/ a small mill and lathe (and a bunch of other tools). It was either do this sort of stuff or hang out at the local bar with a beer in one hand and a pool cue in the other... which isn't a bad way to go either.

Just finally found a few square feet to park my toys. Still working on getting my power situation squared away and then I hope to start turning perfectly good hunks of metal into chips on the floor.

nice..... i've been dreaming about doing this for my ZRX. it's a total pain trying to tune the pilots on 4 carbs, would be way easier w/FCR style aftermarket needles....
